Flowers in greenhouse-bloom
I have developed a new appreciation for orange recently. And these sweet flowers capture just why.
Coral in colour and shape, these drooping flowers would seem better placed on the ocean floor - were it not for their furry exterior. They droop under the heaviness of these coats, dusting them like snow and protecting them from it.
A lime green in my periphery attracted my attention, and that, it seems, of little black bugs too.
From oranges and yellows to purples and blues, the flowers in greenhouse-bloom were a sky at dusk. These lilac ones, almost transparent to the silver light overhead, like rows of small bells. Soon the Morris dancers of May day will wear them at their feet.
A royal blue is rare to see even in the colours of summer. But here it is in early Spring making an entrance!
