Nature in the shape of God

Twisting and folding, geometical play. Stripped back of the bells and whistles of budding flowers and blossoming trees, plant architecture reveals itself. So strong and intricate in it's design, it need only whisper for your attention and admiration. As I stumble upon ever more intricate structures around Oxford's Botanical Gardens, I wonder about the designer (if there is one) of this Universe. God? I see how William Paley thought so. Just maybe, though, that designer is the Universe itself: let us not underestimate her power to manifest the emergence of beautiful order from seeming chaos.
